Today children play math games almost every day, but the biggest part of them children say the math games are boring. In my opinion there are many boring math games, but I also have many that I like to play and that's not boring to me. They could make some games exciting and brillant to play. Like maybe put more action in it, or more music. Different children like different things, so if you put more different things in the math game, children may play it more and like it more. In the website http://www.mangahigh.com/en_gb/ I played flower power. I did learn some math in it, but it wasn't so fun. It could have been better. Not all math games make math motivation, although some math games do. In my game Horse Tumbling, we may put more math in it, but if Lakin and I do that then, we will have to put more sounds in it, to make it better and funnier to play. We also may put more action in our game. What do you think?
I like globaloria, it is fun and interesting to me. Although it can be difficult sometimes. Flash is really exciting to me. There are many things that I like about flash. It helps me with my game alot. We get alot of our game accomplished, with flash. Our game has three levels one, two and three, and flash has helped us out alot to make them levels. I think that our game is going to be fun to play after we get it finshed. And I love that flash is avalable, because it helps us alot. Having our levels in our game, I think has made us step up alot and do our work. At the begining of the year I didn't know how to do anything in flash, but now I have stepped up and I have learned alot in flash. We also have uploaded files to our team page, so go check them out. Now I know how to work in flash with our Horse Tumbling game, and I can't wait to get it done, so that I can play it. I hope that you play it, and enjoy our game.
Educational games are very popular. Many students all around the world play them, even myself. I play study island all the time. Study Island is one of my favorite educational games. I have learned alot of of study island, such as decimals, percents, degree, division, mulitply, and etc. I have also talked to students that play study island and another educational game "cool math". There are many games on there that's exciting to play and some of the games on there aren't very educational. Cool math is also one of my favorite games, and I think any educational games is great for a student. Students learn alot from games. I also think that educational games can create a learning atmosphere, for the future children and students. I hope that the educational games that is being created right now in globaloria class will help the students in a few years learn. I hope they learn alot about math and learn what they want to and need to.
My partner and I have made a game called Horse Tumbling. There are some parts and scences that we have had trouble with, or we dislike. Some of the parts that I like is that it is a horse game, and I love horses and I enjoy to riding them. I also like that me and my partner work together great and we agree on almost everything, but sometimes we make changes. We are having trouble with making our game not a quiz game, but I think we are passing that level. That is really the only thing that I don't like about my game, everything else is alright. I like that we are working together on our game, and we agree on everything. Lakin and I enjoy having a horse game and we lke that it takes place in a forest. Although we still are making changes, I hope there good changes.
This week in Globaloria my partner Lakin Hagerman and I worked on flash. We worked on our scenes to make them better and we change them because of our quiz game we wanted to change it all. We even made new buttons, although we have had a little bit of trouble but nothing major. The problem is when we make a swf file then it flashes instead of slowing down, even we have the stop thing in the code. We are getting that fixed though today. When ever we get all of our scenes finished we will upload them to our team page. It won't be to long before we do that because we have made great progress this week, and I hope it continues every other week!! Now on our drawings, they are good but not perfect, we try our best on drawing the horses, the background, and etc. We have got a few pictures of google.com but it is just like a pie and only very few of them. I am very happy that we have made great progress though! ( :
My partner Lakin Hagerman and I work together great, well I don't think only we work together good, my whole class does. We made our game up together and agreed on it all together. Lakin and I get our work done and we try our best to do it right. We struggle on it if we get it done right and if it is done right we still ask if it is over and over. Our team page is updated. We have all of our files on it and extra's too. My personal opinion about globaloria is I think it is interesting and it's very fun to. I hope that I get to do it next year. I like the way we have to make our game. I also love globaloria!
We had our game presetations Tuseday the 1st of Febuary. My game is about horses and you have to resuce other horses in a maze forest type. Our game is like a quiz game, so after we presented our game we had a question. We asked how can we make our game not a quiz game? Before our pesetation our game was just a forest that you had to go through on a horse and at the end you had to make a graph, but now we have a maze game. We made it a maze so that we could see if that would help us to make our game not a quiz game. We are still working on our game to fix it from a quiz game. Other than that they didn't have many questions, all they asked is how our game went. So now we are making our game not a quiz game. That was our main problem. And our team page is updated and we are at the point were we should be.
